Description
Choose a freestanding mounting option for Aurora umbrellas or the Eclipse 3 m square and 4 m octagonal sizes. The 900 mm square base includes wheels, adjustable feet and four internal ballast tubs. Add the specified ballast before use.
The 900 base provides a mounting option without permanent ground fixing. Its four internal tubs hold ballast beneath an aluminium cover. Position the base before filling it, then attach the spigot supplied with your umbrella. The supplier recommends 7 mm crushed rock or gravel. Raise the feet to reposition the base on an even surface, then lower them so the base rests securely on its feet, not its wheels, while the umbrella is in use.
Best for
Aurora 2.8 m square and 3.5 m octagonal umbrellas. Eclipse 3 m square and 4 m octagonal umbrellas where a freestanding setup is suitable.

One 900 × 900 mm base with four internal ballast tubs, aluminium cover, built-in wheels, adjustable feet and foot-winder tool.
Not included
Ballast material. Umbrella and its mounting spigot. The spigot and its attachment bolts are supplied with the umbrella.
What else you need
The correct umbrella spigot, bolts and tools supplied with the umbrella. Approximately six to seven 20 kg bags of 7 mm crushed rock or gravel, as recommended in the base instructions. An even surface and two people to install the umbrella.
Compatibility and installation guidance
Not suitable for Eclipse 3.5 m square or 3 × 4 m rectangular umbrellas: these sizes require fixed installation. Wheels are built in, so do not add a separate wheel kit. Fill the tubs before installing the umbrella and lower the feet during use. Close the umbrella before strong winds, in gusty conditions and whenever unattended. Follow the linked base instructions and the umbrella owner manual.
