Delivery Estimate & Options
Description
Use an inground fitting where there is no suitable existing slab or deck. The fitting is set into a new concrete footing, then connected to the spigot supplied with your Eclipse or Aurora umbrella.
This mounting method suits garden beds, lawns and paving laid over soil or a similar loose base. The fitting becomes part of a concrete footing beneath the umbrella. It is an alternative to a surface-mounted plate, rather than an extra plate that every installation needs. Plan the position with enough clearance for the umbrella to open and rotate.
Best for
Garden beds, lawns and paved areas where a new concrete footing can be installed.
Included with this product
One standard galvanised-steel inground fitting.
Not included
Umbrella and its spigot. Concrete, excavation, paving reinstatement and installation work.
What else you need
The correct umbrella spigot. A suitable location, excavation and concrete footing. Installation to the relevant model and ground-condition requirements.
Compatibility and installation guidance
For Eclipse and Aurora cantilever umbrellas. Install the fitting in a concrete footing, not directly in loose soil. Follow the guide for footing preparation and curing. If an existing installation already has the correct fitting, check it before ordering another.
